{"id":99236,"date":"2021-12-14T10:57:18","date_gmt":"2021-12-14T09:57:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/support.wallbox.com\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=99236"},"modified":"2024-06-26T01:05:54","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T23:05:54","slug":"how-to-create-and-assign-a-pay-per-month-billing-rate-to-your-chargers","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/support.pre.wallbox.com\/en\/knowledge-base\/how-to-create-and-assign-a-pay-per-month-billing-rate-to-your-chargers\/","title":{"rendered":"How to create and assign a Pay per Month billing rate to a charger?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Pay per Month is the most convenient solution <\/strong>for EV Drivers that need to charge their car regularly using your facilities. <strong>Enrol your users<\/strong> <strong>on a monthly subscription to allow them to easily access your charging services<\/strong> through the Wallbox app and<strong> be billed monthly<\/strong> according to the rate you defined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To set up your charger(s) for the Pay per Month billing solution, you must create billing rates and assign them to your charger to start billing your users.&nbsp;Follow this article to be guided in this process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Available Rates<\/strong> Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The monthly billing solution, just like the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/support.wallbox.com\/en\/knowledge-base\/how-to-set-the-charger-for-pay-per-charge-function\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Pay per Charge solution<\/a><\/strong>, lets you choose between<strong> three charging methods<\/strong> based on variable fees:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Charging time fee<\/strong> (charged in Price \u2014 EUR* \/ Hour)<\/li><li><strong>Consumed energy fee<\/strong> (charged in Price \u2014 EUR* \/ kWh) &#8211; <em>a <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/support.wallbox.com\/en\/knowledge-base\/accessory\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MID meter<\/a><\/strong> needs to be installed with your charging point to use this charging method.<\/em><\/li><li><strong>Time reservation fee<\/strong> (charged in Price \u2014 EUR* \/ Hour)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On top of the abovementioned fees, <strong>you can add a fixed service fee<\/strong> that will apply to all your users&#8217; charging sessions. It can be likened to a charger unlocking fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*The currency depends on the configuration of your Space.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Creating and assigning a Pay per Month rate<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To monetise your charger(s), you must create billing rates and assign them to your charger.&nbsp;Follow the steps below to create and assign a rate to a charger:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Log in to the <a href=\"https:\/\/my.wallbox.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Wallbox portal<\/strong><\/a>.<\/li><li>Go to <strong>Chargers<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Select the charger you want to monetise.<\/li><li>Click <strong>Settings<\/strong>.<\/li><li>Scroll down to the <strong>Payments <\/strong>section.<\/li><li>Enable the <strong>Pay per Month<\/strong> option.<\/li><li>Click the Select rate drop-down and click \u201c<strong>+ Create rate<\/strong>\u201c<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>or select a rate you already defined beforehand. Multiple rates can be added to the schedule, however<strong>,<\/strong>&nbsp;only the first-rate of the charging session will be billed through the length of that session.<\/li><li>Name and configure your new rate. Refer to the first part of this post to better understand each charging fee method.<\/li><li>Click&nbsp;<strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Your rate is now assigned to your charger!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4<\/strong>. <strong>Managing your rates<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As mentioned in the previous steps, you can fully manage all your rates via the dedicated<strong> Payments &gt; Rates<\/strong> area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here you can view all your rates and their properties (variable fee type, price, &#8230;) and check if they are assigned at a glance.
